Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how MiseCentral LLC ("MiseCentral," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the Website and, where applicable, in web-based interfaces of the Services. This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies

1.1. Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use comparable technologies such as pixels, local storage, session storage, and software development kits that store or access information on your device or browser.

1.2. Cookies may be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (remaining until they expire or you delete them). Cookies may be set by MiseCentral ("first-party") or by third parties ("third-party").

2. How We Use Cookies

2.1. We use cookies and similar technologies to:

(a) enable core Website and Services functionality, authentication, and security; (b) remember preferences and session state; (c) measure traffic, performance, and feature usage; (d) diagnose errors and improve reliability; (e) support marketing and lead attribution where permitted; and (f) comply with legal and contractual obligations.

2.2. Cookies used in the Services may support Customer account sessions, role-based access, audit continuity, and operational workflows. Such cookies are generally necessary to provide the Services under Customer's Agreement.

3. Cookie Categories

3.1. Strictly Necessary Cookies. These cookies are essential for the Website or Services to function, including security, load balancing, authentication, and consent management. Because they are necessary, they are deployed based on legitimate need rather than optional consent where permitted by law.

3.2. Functional Cookies. These cookies remember choices you make, such as language, region, or display preferences, to provide enhanced functionality.

3.3. Analytics Cookies. These cookies help us understand how visitors use the Website or how Authorized Users navigate certain interfaces, including page views, funnels, and error rates. We use analytics to improve performance and user experience.

3.4. Marketing Cookies. Where enabled, these cookies may measure campaign effectiveness, attribute leads, or support remarketing on third-party platforms subject to your consent where required.

3.5. We may update cookie names, providers, and lifetimes as our Website and Services evolve. Material changes will be reflected in this Cookie Policy and, where required, in our cookie preference tools.

4. Third-Party Cookies

4.1. Third-party service providers may set cookies when they provide analytics, advertising, embedded content, payment processing, or support tools on our behalf. Third-party providers process information under their own privacy policies and contractual restrictions with MiseCentral.

4.2. Connected Services integrated by Customers in the Services may use their own cookies or tracking technologies outside MiseCentral's direct control. Customers are responsible for their Connected Service configurations and notices.

5. Your Choices

5.1. Cookie Preference Tool. Where required by law, we provide a cookie banner or preference center on the Website allowing you to accept or reject non-essential cookies by category. You may revisit preferences through the preference center link in the Website footer.

5.2. Browser Controls. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may impair Website or Services functionality.

5.3. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Our Website responds to applicable opt-out preference signals where legally required for the processing we control. Services cookie behavior for logged-in Authorized Users is primarily governed by operational necessity and Customer settings.

5.4. Marketing Opt-Out. You may opt out of marketing emails as described in our Privacy Policy. Platform-level advertising cookies, if used, are subject to the consent choices in Section 5.1.

6. Legal Bases (EEA, UK, and Similar Jurisdictions)

6.1. For visitors subject to GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar laws, we rely on:

(a) Consent for non-essential cookies and certain marketing cookies, where required; (b) Legitimate Interests for strictly necessary cookies, security monitoring, and limited analytics that are proportionate and respect your rights; and (c) Contract for cookies strictly required to provide requested Services to Customers and Authorized Users.

6.2. You may withdraw consent at any time through the cookie preference tool without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

7. U.S. State Privacy Disclosures

7.1. Where applicable U.S. state privacy laws regulate certain analytics or advertising technologies, we describe relevant processing in our Privacy Policy and honor opt-out rights as required for Website processing we control.

7.2. MiseCentral does not sell Personal Data for monetary consideration. We do not use Customer Personal Data processed in the Services for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. Data Retention

8.1. Cookie retention periods vary by type and purpose. Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for the duration specified in our cookie preference tool or until you delete them.

9. Changes to This Cookie Policy

9.1. We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy with a revised "Last Updated" date and, where required, refresh consent for material changes to non-essential cookies.
