Partner Code of Conduct
This Partner Code of Conduct ("Code") sets ethical and operational standards for partners ("Partner") in the MiseCentral partner ecosystem. The Code supplements the Partner Agreement and related partner program documents. Capitalized terms have the meanings in the MiseCentral Legal Library Defined Terms.
1. Purpose
1.1. MiseCentral LLC ("MiseCentral") builds trust with Customers through transparent partner relationships. This Code establishes minimum conduct expectations for Partner Organizations and Partner Users.
1.2. Violations may result in suspension, decertification, or termination under the Partner Agreement.
2. Customer First
2.1. Partner acts in Customers' best interests when delivering services, providing honest scoping, and recommending appropriate Subscription plans and configurations.
2.2. Partner discloses material conflicts of interest, including relationships with competing products, before engagement.
2.3. Partner does not oversell Service capabilities, security posture, or the binding nature of Operational Recommendations.
2.4. Partner respects Customer decisions to revoke delegation, change partners, or contact MiseCentral directly.
3. Data Stewardship
3.1. Customer owns Customer Data. Partner accesses Customer Data only under Customer Delegation and applicable agreements.
3.2. Partner must not exfiltrate, sell, or reuse Customer Data outside authorized scope.
3.3. Partner uses Partner Support Mode for assisted mutations; never requests Customer passwords or shared personal administrator accounts.
3.4. Partner protects exported Customer Data with encryption and access controls and deletes copies when no longer needed.
3.5. Partner promptly reports suspected data breaches affecting Customer Data to Customer and MiseCentral at security@misecentral.com.
4. Security and Access
4.1. Partner Users enroll in MFA as required for Partner Support Mode and maintain secure devices and credentials.
4.2. Partner does not attempt to bypass tenant isolation, access billing records without authorization, or probe MiseCentral systems outside Responsible Disclosure Policy scope.
4.3. Partner cooperates with security investigations and implements remediation recommendations for Partner-controlled systems affecting integrations.
5. Professional Integrity
5.1. Partner provides accurate qualifications, certifications, and project experience. Partner does not falsify MiseCentral credentials.
5.2. Partner competes fairly and does not defame MiseCentral, other partners, or Customers.
5.3. Partner complies with anti-bribery, anti-kickback, and gift policies applicable in Customer jurisdictions. Modest hospitality must not influence procurement decisions.
5.4. Partner does not employ MiseCentral employees or contractors in violation of MiseCentral policies or conflicting agreements without disclosure.
6. Marketing and Brand
6.1. Partner uses MiseCentral trademarks only as permitted in brand guidelines.
6.2. Partner distinguishes Partner offerings from MiseCentral Services in proposals and contracts.
6.3. Partner obtains Customer consent before publishing logos, testimonials, or case studies.
6.4. Partner does not claim SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA, or other attestations on MiseCentral's behalf unless MiseCentral publishes such status in writing.
7. Marketplace and Integrations
7.1. Marketplace Participants provide accurate listing information, honor declared data scopes, and support Customers for Partner-controlled offerings.
7.2. Partner does not publish integrations that intercept credentials, perform undisclosed data collection, or degrade Service security.
8. Support Conduct
8.1. Partner responds to Customer support requests within committed timeframes and escalates platform issues to MiseCentral appropriately.
8.2. Partner documents assistance performed in Partner Support Mode with customer-visible records where required.
8.3. Partner does not blame Customers publicly or manipulate reviews.
9. Workforce Conduct
9.1. Partner ensures Partner Users understand and comply with this Code.
9.2. Partner conducts background screening appropriate to access level where lawful.
9.3. Partner prohibits harassment, discrimination, and abusive behavior toward Customer personnel, MiseCentral staff, or other partners.
10. Reporting Violations
10.1. Partner reports Code violations or suspected partner misconduct to partners@misecentral.com or legal@misecentral.com.
10.2. MiseCentral may investigate reports and take program action. Retaliation against good-faith reporters is prohibited.
11. Updates
11.1. MiseCentral may update this Code by posting a revised version with an updated Effective Date. Continued partner program participation constitutes acceptance of material updates after notice.
